Bright lights

The lofty position of the cathedral captivates all from miles around, the night brings its own spectacular viewpoint, which is emphasised by the black and white.

This picture is the first I have published using a budget Fuji bridge camera, its also my first night image worth sharing. Can’t wait to try it when it’s even darker. As far as technology goes – all i did was grayscale it and put the colour back that was already there.

To take this I used a slow shutter speed, it’s very hard to take a quality photo without a tripod – something I have figured out.
