A catch up with Ethan Moses
My name is Andrew Walmsley and your listening to episode 173 of photography insights. This is the show that interviews people from the photography world.
Today we get to catch up with Ethan Moses from Cameradactyl. I hadn’t spoken to Ethan since November 2019 but always followed his work. When he was running a recent project I couldn’t help but be interested. Ethan has been playing with “afghan” cameras as they call them, huge 20×24 bits of technology. Not only that but he’s been using the ra4 process to make his own version of instant positive prints!
Ethan’s personality always shines through, a man who can’t stop playing and inventing. So in this one listen out for:
- instax + polaroid film
- Elsa Dorfman
- Zorki/Fed/Kiev + Pentacons
- Mongoose + Meerkat
- Making cameras
- Repairing & playing
- Selling to the industry
