Image experiments featuring Gimp

This image was put together as an experiment using layers within the image editor Gimp, using 2 photos taken by myself.  I believe the image draws you in, to consider the growth and stages of a flower much like a little girl.

Capturing my friend (see previous post) and then playing with Gimp, I managed to capture a type of movement effect, so simple to accomplish (3 images with opacity changes).

Not so technical bit

The above images were previously edited in Lightzone, then I played with Gimp, I had a vision what to do but achieving is something different.  Maybe I will cover more in a future article?

Remember – i only use Linux, at no point do I use Windows!
